Link to website: Cinnamuff's Galaxy!
Hi hello it's Jo welcome to my blog, Today I am reviewing a website called Cinnamuff's Galaxy! Go take a look at their website! As said as always, these reviews are simply for fun, am not saying people have to take my opinions or critique into consideration, especially the web designers I am reviewing and please go check out these peoples hard work it really is important. With all that being said, lets get into the review!
I like the the whole vibe and color scheme of the website, the galaxy theme is super fun and endearing! I also like the general artstyle of the whole website, very cutsey.
The home page is adorable being greeted by (what I belive to be) a little alien! I really like the whole layout as well, I enjoy the pixle gradient in the changelog, the latest art is also advertised in a clever way by blowing up the art so you'd want to click on it to then see the full piece. I also love the fact that you can look at the RSS (Really Simple Syndication) so you can refrence the website for people who like certain aspects of the website.
The about section is very cute! I like the layour and the focal art piece on this page. I also appreciate how the stamps link back to the people who made them. I found the whole "About the site" Section interesting, being that Kris (The creator of the website) gave explination as to why they use neocities. being that I'm much younger than them I find it interesting as to why they use neocites.
I really like the way the gallery is set up, will deffinitally be using this type of gallery as inspiration once I make my art showcase section. I dislike how the only clickable thing is the words, I was expecting the whole image to be a button as well and it confused me at first, but maybe thats just me. I did however love the animation for the image when clicking on the drawing itself. My favorite art peice of 2024 was this peice:
I like the monochrome pallete of each character on this drawing, and I would go through each year and say which peice is may favorite, but that wiuld take up a lot of space so I wont be doing that.
Note : I will be skipping over a few things as they will lead to other projects and websites that deserve their own personal reviews, so I will not be going over Cinnaverse and Projects/ Webcomics
The toybox is a very fun area and a pretty clever way to organize all of their logs
I think the japanese log is extremley cool, I've always wanted to learn a different language and I think this is a great way to show what you're learning
I've always wanted to make a shrine of my own, anyways, the pokemon shrine is extremely cool! To be completely honest, It's been like a year or two since I last played a pokemon game, so I don't have much to say on this section.
I had no idea that secret drawing box was a site, it's not a completley out there idea but I still find it cool. This is my favorite drawing from the archive:
I want to do this with my website exentually, sadly I don't really keep images of my old websites, so when I change the wesbite/ update it, the old version is gone for good. Anyways, the current version is awsome but if I had to choose from one of the older layout's I would say version 1.0 is my favorite.
This part of the website is awesome. I like when others just talk about their little interest that mean a lot to them. I don't know anything about space though so I will not be going over most of this other than just saying it's cool and I like the ikea alien plush.
At first glance I thought this section of the website was just going to be about reviewing books, but it's not, it is actually just showing off Kris's really cool comics they have made.
I don't game as much as I'd like to but I'm going to go throught this list and see if theres any games I have also played.
Okay, so I've played a few of the same games, for a recommendation I would say, if you enjoy stardew valley and pokemon I suggest playing moonstone island, it's a combinaion of the two games and I've enjoyed it so far.
I like whenever others share little parts of the internet with others to help younger coders and or artist, I like this section.
The way the blog is set up is some what different from the rest of the website, I like it! I looked at the first blog post which was the OC memes and art. Got me kickng and screaming from how funny this is. I love the how hungryy meme.
Okay at this point IDK what an RSS is, I've only been coding for like 2-3 years now so I don't know much about coding. I'll be reaserching it more for sure.
Very cool oc's, I like to just keep my oc's on toyhou.se, but I also know not everyone can look at that due to the site being invite only. So this is a good idea!

This was probabaly the biggest website I've reviwed so far, that is why I skipped over so much becuase I didn't want this blog post to be too long to read so I am sorry that I didn't go over everything, but I will most likely come back to this website to review other parts of it
Anyways, amazing website go check it out and also go check out the comics Kirs has made and is making: Star quest
